Substance Abuse Prevention
Program
This program
focuses on the children, adolescents, and other family members connected to women
offenders. Our goal is to increase
educational and supportive services for more than 250 children of women in the
Horizons, Inc. programs. The children
and families of Horizons, Inc. clients are at the highest risk for substance
abuse. On-site youth substance abuse
prevention, monthly family nights, and support groups are designed to
strengthen family relationships and promote a drug free and crime free
lifestyle.
Residents
work together with staff to create collages that represent their lives and
families.
