Family Revitalization Program

Since 1980, Horizons, Inc. has been receiving funding from United Way for our Family Revitalization Program. This program helps women reunite with their children, heal the wounds of separation and drug use, and provides education and skill building for mothers. Services in this program include monthly family nights where women, their children, and family members have an opportunity to learn about criminal behavior, alcohol and drug abuse, and family violence. The family revitalization program also includes individual family sessions as well as weekend family programming Weekend programming focuses on activities with children and families of the women here at Horizons. Additional activities also included hosting holiday and birthday events.
